ISLAMABAD: A chartered accountancy firm, Ferguson & Co has said that there is no contradiction between tax returns of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryum Nawaz.
The chartered accountants firm said that PM Nawaz Sharif had not described Maryam Nawaz as his dependent in the tax returns of 2011.
The chartered firm released a report on Panama leaks and confirmed that there was no contradiction between tax returns of PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz’s tax returns.
The report said that the PM mentioned the plot, purchased in 2011 in the name of her daughter, in the right column of then tax returns.
Ferguson also confirmed that Maryam Nawaz was a taxpayer at that time. The firm claimed that tax returns of PM Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz of 2011 were according to the law.
