Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday announced that there will be no more chairman selection committee.
He further said that there should not be any say to chairman PCB in the selection committee.
The PCB chairman further apprised that the captain as well as head coach of the team will be member of the selection committee.
Addressing a presser at the PCB headquarter at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, the PCB Chairman said that the team selection now will be conducted by a selection committee comprising seven members.
The PCB chairman announcing the selection committee said that Wahab Riyaz, Abdul Razaq, Asad Shafique, Muhammad Yousuf will be the part of the selection committee while the head coach and captain will also include in the selection committee and seventh man will be the expert of data to be the part of the selection committee.
Mohsin Naqvi said that there is no room of para-shooters in the PCB adding that no any one request will play any role in the selection of anyone.
He informed that he talked with Amad Waseem on an one point agenda adding that no talk of Non Objection Case of (NOC) was discussed with Amad Waseem while the PCB has also restored the contract of Harris Rauf.
