The US foreign office spokesman John Kirby has said that there was no tension prevailed in ties between the US and Pakistan, adding that establishment of peace in the region was in the mutual interest of the two countries.
Talking to media persons in briefing the state department spokesman said that Afghanistan still has save heavens for terrorists and the terrorists are mutual enemies of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
John Kirby said “we are in touch with Pakistan on matters of Afghanistan and cooperation is continued as well with Pakistan to chase the terrorists.”
The US spokesman urged Pakistan and Afghanistan that ” it is in their interest to keep up their cooperation between each other.”
The spokesman wished that the US wanted to see Tourkham border open for transportation.
It is pertinent to mention here that yesterday the US state department director for press relation Elizabeth Trudeau had said that the US armed services committee have increased conditions to release coalition support fund adding that some members of the congress were not prepared to release the aid without any assurance.
