Pyongyang: North Korea on Thursday fired two short-range ballistic missiles, marking the second weapons test in less than a week, announces South Korea military.

The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff announced the launch in a statement, saying the missiles were fired from the northwest city of Kusong and travelled roughly 260 miles to the east.

It came hours after the top US envoy arrived in South Korea for talks on how to revive nuclear negotiations.
