Pakistan on Wednesday (today) once again has extended stay of Afghan refugees for more six months as it was going to end on June 30 tomorrow.
The government has extended stay of as many as 1.5 million refugees living in Pakistan till December 31 and notification has also been issued in this connection.
Sources said that the government had the summary regarding giving an extension to the 1.5 million Afghan refugees, however, Prime Minister (PM) has given the extension through executive order as cabinet meeting has not been held since long. While all provinces have been informed regarding the extension in the stay of the Afghan refugees.
