Astoor: The number of death climbed to 14 in falling of coaster bound to Chakwal from Astoor, Gilgit yesterday while rescue operation for saving others people is underway.
Rescue team has lifted another body of a women after which the numbers of dead reached 14.
Whereas the rescue operation is underway for remaining 12 people.
The unfortunate people attendants of marriage were heading to Chakwal when their coaster fell into the river yesterday.
Yesterday, a coaster filled with people of marriage attendants heading towards Chakwal from Astoor fell in the river at a point of Thalechi bridge
According to the rescue sources as many as 25 people were travelling in the coaster which was going to attend marriage from Preshing area in Astoor to Rawalpindi.
A rescue team started rescue operation after reaching the point while rescue operation is underway.
