Number of Mobile Connections Exceed 1.5 Billion in Pakistan

Web Desk (August 17, 2018): Number of mobile connections has exceeded 1.5 billion across country.

By the end of fiscal year 2016-17, number of mobile connections in Pakistan was 13,97,58,116. In which, 1,04,80,537 have further increased. After which, by the end of current fiscal year 2017-18, number of mobile connections has reached to 15,02,38,653.According to the calculation of June 2018, number of broadband users in country is 5,83,39,814. In which, 1,37,53,000 have increased in current year.

Last year, by the end of fiscal year 2016-17, number of broadband users was 4,45,86,733.

By the end of fiscal year 2017-18, cellular companies earned profit of 4,46110 million. While, profit of cellular companies, in last fiscal year 2016-17 was 6,64,850 million. In which, increase of 17,260 million is observed.According to statistics of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, by the end of current fiscal year 2017-18, number of mobile connections has reached to 15,02,38,653. In which, number of Warid and Jazz users is 5,54,69,118.

Number of Telenor users is 4,35,64,686, while number of Zong users is 3,08,90,663 and Ufone users is 2,03,14,686. In which, number of 3G and 4G users is 5,60,84,619.
