ISLAMABAD: The federal government is expected to lower petroleum prices in its upcoming bi-weekly review for October 2025.
Petrol prices are anticipated to decrease by Rs6.10 per litre, while the high-speed diesel rate might see a minimal reduction of 97 paisa per litre. Additionally, kerosene oil and light diesel oil prices are likely to experience a cut of Rs2.75 and Rs1.64 per litre, respectively.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) plans to submit a summary to the Petroleum Division later today. Following consultations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Finance will make an official announcement regarding the new prices.
