Chakwal: There is a vital progress has been made in the energy sector with cooperation of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) as Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has kick started production of oil from heavy oil well in Chakwal.
The OGDCL commenced the oil production in heavy oil well from Rajian 11 heavy oil well in Chakwal.
Rajian 11 heavy oil well has been dormant since 2020.
Now the heavy oil well has been successfully reactivated through an advanced artificial lift system.
The production of 1000 barrel of oil is expected from the heavy oil well.
At a depth of 3,774 Meters, previously concealed resources have now been brought to the surface—marking a Major Achievement for OGDCL.
With an increase in Hydrocarbon production, OGDCL’S leadership is becoming even stronger.
