Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday approved an increase in prices of gas up to 16. 37 percent.
The OGRA has approved an increase of 16.37 percent in Sui Northern while average 6.35 percent increase has been approved for Sui Southern.
As per the amount Rs 94 per MMBTU increase in Sui Northern and Rs 50 per MMBTU increase in Sui Southern have been approved.
Sui Gas companies had filed application for the year 2021-2022. Average gas increase will be applicable from 1st of July 2021 while the increase will be applicable after the approval of the federal government.
