OGRA recommends govt to uptick petrol price by Rs 12 per liter for next fortnightly

Islamabad: Care Taker Premier Anwar Ul Haq Kakar has faced with first difficult challenge regarding prices of petroleum products as working paper for increasing prices of petroleum products has received by the petroleum division recommending Rs 12 increase in petroleum prices per liter.

Sources said that the OGRA has suggested an increase of Rs 20 per liter on High Speed Diesel.

Kerosene oil prices recommended increasing Rs 10 per liter while the prices of light diesel suggested to increase Rs per 8 per liter.

The final decision will be taken by care taker PM after consulting with secretary finance.

The PM has powers to increase or decrease or remaining prices unchanged for next 15-day period.
