LAHORE: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed hike in diesel price by Rs 4.36 per liter from June 1 while decision in this regard will be taken today.
According to a summary sent by the OGRA to the Petroleum Division, the authority has asked the government to increase the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs4.36 per liter, while a slight increase in the price of petrol and kerosene has also been suggested.
The authority has recommended maintaining the price of petrol, kerosene oil and light diesel oil.
The final decision regarding new prices will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the updated price of petroleum products are expected to take effect from June 1.
