ISLAMABAD: Already worried over skyrocketing price hike of commodities the people heard another shocking news of an increase of up to Rs 14 per litre on petrol for the month of May.
The OGRA has sent its summary to the ministry of finance while the ministry will take the decision after approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources said that the OGRA recommended an increase of Rs 14.37 for petrol and Rs 4.89 for diesel.
Addition of Rs 7.36 recommended for kerosene oil and Rs 6.40 for light diesel oil.
Sources said that the OGRA has recommended new petroleum goods prices, according to which Rs 113.26 for petrol, Rs 122. 32 for diesel oil, Rs 96, 77 for kerosene oil, Rs 86.94 for light diesel oil.
Ministry of finance will take a final decision after consultation with the premier.
