Islamabad: A preparation has been made to add more burden on masses as Oil Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to finance division to raise prices of petroleum products up to Rs 8 per liter from February 16 tomorrow.
Sources said that the OGRA has suggested to increase petrol prices Rs 8.30, high speed diesel Rs 5.30 per liter while the OGRA has conducted working of increase on basis of existing levy. If the government were increased levy further than the raise can be increased.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will take final decision regarding prices of petroleum products for the next fortnightly. After the approval of PM, the new prices will be announced.
