Karachi: Sindh Minister for local bodies has said that a new Jam Sadiq bridge will be construed after demolition of old bridge.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, today, Saeed Ghani said that Malir Expressway will be constructed before the stipulated time of two years.
Saeed Ghani apprised that work on placing of garders at the Malir Expressway are underway.
He requested the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to deliver funds for the expressway before the time, we will construct new Jam Sadiq bridge after bulldozing old one.
He apprised further that under the Jam Sadiq bridge, there is the Malir Expressway which has been named shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Expressway.
He informed that there is a difference between motorway toll tax and Expressway tax adding that shaheed Bhutto Expressway is the choice for the people if they will use good road then it will save their fuel.
He said that the PPP represented people of Sindh whenever we feel excessive is made on the people of Sindh then we will talk to the federal government.
He claimed that people of Karachi were voting for the PPP and we don’t need any certificate from the MQM-P.
