Oman Announces Fully Funded Scholarships for Pakistani Students for 2025–26

KARACHI: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the opening of applications for the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26, which provides fully financed scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue undergraduate degrees at select universities in Oman.

This program aims to promote international education and foster academic and cultural ties between Pakistan and Oman. It is part of Oman’s initiative to attract international students and strengthen educational cooperation through the support of the Higher Education Commission.

Pakistani applicants are eligible to enroll in undergraduate programs across various disciplines, including Engineering, Humanities, Information Technology, and other sciences—excluding medical studies.

Key benefits for scholarship recipients include complete exemption from tuition fees, a monthly stipend of OMR 200 (without accommodation) or OMR 140 (with housing), one round-trip airfare per academic year, and the flexibility to select up to three universities and two academic majors.

Participating institutions include Nizwa University, Al Buraimi University, Sharqiyah University, Dhofar University, Majan University College, and Gulf College.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must hold Pakistani nationality
  • Completed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification within the past three years
  • Maximum age: 23 years
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Must obtain an Equivalency Certificate from the Omani Ministry of Education

Application Deadlines:
Students interested in applying must submit their applications directly to their chosen Omani university by August 25, 2025. The final submission deadline to HEC is September 23, 2025. Applicants are encouraged to register early through the official portal to secure their place in this fully funded scholarship program.
