Peshawar (May 06, 2017): A man was killed on Saturday in a hand grenade blast in Badaber area of Peshawar.
As per details, the blast occurred in Badaber area in the outskirt of the provincial metropolis.
It added that a man, identified as Alam Khan, was holding a hand grenade when it went off. As a result Alam Khan got injured died on the spot.
It is not clear whether the man was carrying the grenade for any attack or it picked some unattended grenade.
Two hours have passed since the incident happened, police is yet to reach the site.
It is to be mentioned here that Badaber is located in the outskirt of the city and in the past militants groups have been very active in the area. The militants have carried out attacks on police and law enforcement agencies. The area also bordered Dara Adam Khel trial area in Frontier Region of Kohat.
