Turbat: A blast has been reported in Turbat, Baluchistan, where at least one member of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was martyred and two others injured during a search operation.
According to police officials, the explosion occurred while the BDS was examining the area for explosives. Following the blast, security forces cordoned off the site, and an investigation is currently underway.
The incident occurred just weeks after a deadly blast in Mastung, where a police van was targeted, killed five people, including three schoolchildren, and injuring several others. The wounded were immediately transferred to nearby hospitals, and emergency measures were implemented.
In response to these attacks, the Baluchistan government has pledged to take strong action against terrorist groups operating in the region.
