Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad to continue till targets achieved: PM

ISLAMABAD: Operation Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad will not stop till the desired objects are achieved, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said while chairing the high level security meeting held to review the gains of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, National Security Advisor Nasser Khan Janjua and DG ISI Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar attended the meeting.

The prime minister further said that Pakistan is determined to remain steadfast to undertake all steps for eliminating terrorists without any discrimination of geographic region, color or sect.

The Prime Minister further said that  across the board consensus among all the stakeholders and the overwhelming sentiments of the people to get rid of terrorism and extremism guarantee a comprehensive win in this war. Pakistan has given immense sacrifices in its own war against terrorism, he added.

The participants of the meeting including federal Minister Interior Nisar Ali Khan, Minister Finance Ishaq Dar, Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Federal as well as senior civil and military officials.

The meeting attended by other senior civil and military officials.  reviewed the gains of ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’; unanimously agreed to resolve for the continuation of the  operation till the acheivements of the set targets. They underlined that the operation reflects the unilateral national resolve and commitment of complete obliteration of terrorism from the entire country and agreed to continue the offensive against terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations with the fullest might of the state.

The participants reiterated that national unity and support are indispensable for successful implementation of the anti terror strategy.
