‘Opponents Must Witness Massive Public Support With PPP’

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday called out the government for ‘witnessing the massive support of the public with his party’.

In his address to PPP stalwarts at Cantt Station in Karachi, the PPP chairman, chanting the famous party slogan, said the train march is his message to all that ‘Kal Bhi Bhutto Zinda Tha, Aj Bhi Bhutto Zinda Hai’.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bilawal has kicked off his first ever train march from Karachi to Larkana aiming to give tough time to the contemporary Federal government.

During the march, PPP chairman will address the party stalwarts at 20 train stations. Several goats were slaughtered at the Cantt Station as a good omen before kicking off the march.

PPP leaders along with party workers have gathered in huge numbers to be part of the train march. The train journey, which began from Cantt Station in Karachi will culminate at Larkana on March 27.

Talking to media before the commencement of march, Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani said that the train march is on party’s own expense not on government’s.

“We booked the train with our own money, we’ll see what to do with the government if it interferes in our march”, added Ghani.

Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, who was also present at the scene to support party’s move against PTI-led Government, unravelled that the train march is part of PPP’s preparation for a convention scheduled on April 04.
