Opposition, Govt. maintain deadlock over ToRs formation

ISLAMABAD: The deadlock between government and opposition, over formation of ToRs, did not end, while next session could not be scheduled during today’s session, whereas Aitzaz Ahsan said that Opposition showed flexibility to the possible extent.

The deadlock between government and opposition, over formation of ToRs, did not end today. In reaction to the today’s session, opposition leaders said that there is no advancement over ToRs today. PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that if there would be hope of improvement in talks with government, then next session date would have been finalized.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that today’s session ended with zero result.

On the other hand, talking to media, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that two opposition parties want such legislation which will neither be beneficial to country, nor accountability process. He said that some opposition parties are negotiating and threatening to protest. Parliamentary Committee’s job is to find a way acceptable to everyone.
