Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said hosting the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs) is a matter of honor for Pakistan.
Talking to PTV News, he said the visit of OIC foreign ministers will further improve the prestige of Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said that stoking political instability at this critical juncture by the opposition is not appropriate and it must revisit its decisions.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi opined that he is not in favour of imposing a governor rule in Sindh
The FM Qureshi said that what is happening in the Sindh house is against the spirit of the charter of democracy while he urged those who are creating uncertainty in the country should revisit their decision.
Qureshi said that every member of the National Assembly (NA) has been elected by civilized people who has obligation to take decision according to his or her conscience. However, while taking any decision they should keep in mind wishes of people of their constituency.
The Minister said that today politics of 90’s is being repeated adding that he is not in favour of imposing a governor rule in Sindh and he will present his point of view in political committee meeting in chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
He said that India has not given any satisfactory statement regarding “accidental missile fire” adding that increasing escalation in Ukraine is resulting in increase of oil at the international market due to which the economy will face more burden.
