Opposition, Treasury Members Exchange Accusations In NA

ISLAMABAD: The exchange of accusation between the opposition and the treasury benches continued in the budget session of the National Assembly.

Addressing the NA budget session, Minister of State for Safron & Narcotics Control Shehryar Afridi asked that who did make country indebted adding that no Sindh and Baluchistan cards will be run in the country.

Shehryar Afridi said that “Those who defending their leaders must be asked where from their leaders accumulated enormous wealth.”

PPP woman lawmaker, Hina Rabbani Khar criticizing the environment of the session said: “sometimes I don’t want to attend the NA session as accusations of past are more discussed then debate on the budget.” She declared the government process of accountability as a joke.

The treasury member, Ali Nawaz Awan said that the Supreme Court has declared Sindh as first on the corruption list in the country.

He said, “We want to raise the issue of HIV in Larkana but the PPP members want to discuss the presidential system.”

Awan said that wheat of worth Rs two billion for poor in Sindh stolen from the government godown.

Awami National Party (ANP) leader Ameer Hyder Hoti said that the country is facing bad economic conditions while he urged the government to avoid increasing inflation at least in the given conditions.

Another PPP woman member Shazia Muree said that the people worst affected by the budget by the government through increasing inflations.

Federal Minister for defense production Zubaida Jalal said that the country will get prosperous when Baluchistan gets prosperous as people of the province voted in the election despite firing and missile attacks.
