Opposition’s Ruckus Mars NA Session

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s session was postponed till an indefinite period after the ruckus caused by the opposition here on Tuesday.

As per details, a session of the NA was held which was headed by the Speaker Asad Qaiser. The opposition continued to protest following yesterday’s a heated conversation.

Former Defence Minister Khurram Dastgeer lambasted Prime Minister Imran Khan for his statement in Iran and said that his statement was enough to bring Pakistan on the back foot and he should clarify his statement in the house.

At which, Murad Saeed stood up to respond but was forced to start his speech by using earphones as the opposition started chanting slogans against him.

Federal Minister in his address said that whenever the accountability will start in the country Bilawal will be made accountable for his hefty fees paid to the University of Oxford. To which the opposition raged protest and cordoned off the rostrum. The opposition also tore the copies of the agenda.

He said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) appointed an anti-state element like Hussain Haqqani an ambassador in the United States and Bilawal himself has taken up India’s case within the parliament.

Later on, the session was postponed for Zuhr prayer, upon the resumption of the session a bill was proposed against the forced conversion of religion which was handed over to standing committee after the approval of Law Minister.

The session was postponed after ruckus caused by the opposition for an indefinite period.
