Islamabad: High Court approved the bail of over 120 PTI workers arrested in the context of the protest on November 26 and ordered their immediate release.
Islamabad High Court bench, consisting of Acting Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif, approved the bail applications. Lawyers Ali Bukhari, Babar Awan, and Murtaza Turi, among others, were present in court.
The court has ordered over 120 arrested PTI workers to give affidavits at the police station.
The Acting Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court directed that a sworn affidavit be provided, stating that such an offense will not be committed again.
The court approved bail on the condition of 20,000 rupees in surety and ordered the immediate release of all workers.
