Islamabad: Overall budget recorded surplus Rs 1696 billion after two decades as the Finance Ministry has issued a report of fiscal operations from July to September current year .
Provinces have spent less than Rs 160 billions while the federal government surplus remained Rs 1536.
According to the finance ministry documents, during this quarter Rs 3002 billion overall primary surplus recorded.
During the quarter the federation has earning of Rs 4019 billion while it spent Rs 2483 billion.
The government has gotten tax revenue of Rs 521 billion while it got non tax revenue of Rs 2568.
In the previous financial year there was financial deficit of Rs 1031 billion , the finance ministry said.
The Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) collected tax of Rs 2,056 billion in the three month time, the finance ministry said.
Non tax revenue increased Rs 2568 billion while total volume remained Rs 3021 billions, the finance ministry said.
