Pak army distances itself from banners put up in Army Chief support

The spokesperson Pakistan Army Director General ISPR Asim Bajwa distancing from banners hanged in the support of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif said that army or any affiliated organization to army has no links with those banners.

In his tweet on social media web site Tweeter, The DG ISPR Asim Bajwa said that military has no link with the banners hanged in the support of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.

“Reference post with army chief pictures being displayed across various cities, army or any affiliated organization have nothing to do with it,” DG ISPR said in his tweet.

A small political party of Punjab had put up banners in 13 cities across the country with its leaders urging Gen Raheel Sharif to impose martial law and form a government of technocrats, however the banners are removed from Islamabad and some other cities.
