RAWALPINDI: The Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) said three soldiers also embrace martyrdom during intense exchange of firing.
An attempted infiltration by a group of Khwarij (TTP terrorists) was thwarte by security forces in Bajaur District on the night of August 18-19, resulting in the killing of five terrorists and the martyrdom of three soldiers.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “Khwarij were trying to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border when they engaged by security forces.”
“Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate. Resultantly, five Khwarij of Fitna al Khwarij were send to hell, while four Khwarij get injure,” the state
The security forces remain committed to securing the borders, and the sacrifices of the soldiers have strengthened their resolve, the ISPR added.
