Rawalpindi: In retaliatory attack on terrorists who attacked polio team in North Waziristan district of Spin Wam martyred one soldier while the attack was foiled , Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
As per the ISPR, exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists resulted into martyrdom of soldier Saqib Ur Rehman.
The terrorists who tried disturbing the on going polio campaign by attacking the polio team, the security forces deployed for security of the team gave befitting respond to the terrorists while ensuring the protection of all the team members of the polio team as they were transferred to safe destination without any harm.

The martyred soldier was of age 25 years and belonged to Mardan.
