Islamabad: Chiefs of Pakistan bar and Supreme Court bar council held a vital meeting with Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) Qazi Faiz Isa after he assumed charge of the post.
They have given suggestions on formation of benches, pending cases, immediate nature cases to be heard early. They exchanged views suggestions regarding fixation of cases, matters of benches.
Sources said that one of the lawyer including in the meeting said to fix case of Faizabad implementation. To which the CJ said that if the Faizabad implementation not fixed so will you stage sit-in? on which the lawyer smiling said that he will do it.
Talking to media after meeting with the CJ, the chairman executive committee of Pakistan bar Hassan Raza Pasha said that Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked written suggestions while a committee will be established which will include a representative of bar.
Hassan Raza further said that we have full expectation that the CJ will fulfill all promises he made and our suggestions will be implemented.
