Though two batters skipper Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel have made half centuries but they could not stay on pitch to score big on batting wickets.
Pakistan has won the toss and opted to ball first.

Opening batsmen Imam Ul Haq like always except one 50 in the WC, lost his wicket and latter Abdullah Shafique followed.
Other batsmen scores are Shadab Khan 43, Muhammad Nawaz 24 and Muhammad Rizwan 32.
Pakistani batsmen consistent scores showed they have been directed not to score big.
From South Africa, Tabraiz Shamsi begged four wickets, Marco Jansen picked three wickets, Gerald Coetzee took two wickets while Lungi Ngidi one wicket.
It was a do and die match for Pakistan and playing against proteas they have to set big score who they didn’t.
