Karachi: Pakistan have clinched victory by six wickets against South Africa after chasing staggering target of 353 runs, its highest chase in one day international (ODI).
Muhammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha record 260 runs partnership changed impossible into the possible which is also team’s highest partnership in the ODI.
Salman Ali Agha playing splendid innings scored 134 runs but remained little unfortunate as he lost his wicket two runs short in the target on 351 runs.
It was Pakistan vice-captain Salman maiden century in the ODI.
Owing to his heroic performance Salman Ali Agha was declared man of the match and player of the match. As a player of the match he was awarded Rs 200000.
Pakistan will play final of the tri-nation series against New Zealand on Friday at the same stadium.
Muhammad Rizwan also played extraordinary innings scored unbeaten 122 runs.
Before, Fakhar Zaman also played well and smashed 41 runs in 28 balls but Pakistan have lost three wickets on a score of 91 runs.
