ISLAMABAD: The National Economic Council’s Executive Committee has sanctioned major development projects totaling over 117 billion rupees.
The decision was made during a meeting held in Islamabad today, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. Among the approvals was an extension of the ‘Sehat Sahulat Program’ until July 30 of this year, along with several significant initiatives focused on energy, infrastructure, and transportation sectors aimed at fostering socio-economic progress and enhancing public service delivery.
Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of thorough planning, effective implementation, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of these projects, instructing relevant government ministries to prioritize these aspects.
