Pakistan Cricket Board Selection Committee may drop injury prone opening batsman Muhammad Hafeez from national ODI and T-20 squads in series against the West Indies starting from September 23. Hafeez say that he trying his best to get rid of his injury and is hopeful to be completely fit before the series.
No final decision, however, has yet been made in this regard. According to sources Hafeez needs another week to get rid of the injury and his first fitness test will be conducted in third week this month.
Sources claimed that Hafeez could not be completely fit before the ODI and T20 series and thus his inclusion in the squad appears difficult.
The medical staff of National Cricket Academy is trying its best to bring Hafeez to complete fitness.
