Pakistan aims for a comeback against South Africa in the second T20I.

WEB DESK: The second T20 International between Pakistan and South Africa is set to take place today at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium under stringent security measures.

Officials have confirmed the deployment of special police contingents in and around the stadium, along with rigorous security checks at all entry and exit points.

Earlier this week, Pakistan faced a disappointing 55-run defeat against South Africa in the first T20I in Rawalpindi. Babar Azam, making his return, was dismissed for a two-ball duck by Corbin Bosch, while captain Agha Salman contributed just two runs as Pakistan’s top order crumbled early.

Though Saim Ayub and Mohammad Nawaz showed brief resistance, the team ultimately faltered against South Africa’s disciplined bowling, leaving Pakistan trailing 0–1 in the three-match series.

The third and final T20 is scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium on November 1.
