ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has announced fifteen members sqaud for under nineteen World Cup.
The Under-19 World Cup scheduled from January 19 to February 11 in South Africa, Pakistan has announced the fifteen member squad of Pakistan for junior World Cup.
Saad Baig has been appointed as the captain and Ali Asfand as the vice-captain, the junior World Cup will be held in South Africa from January 19 to February 11.
The Under-19 World Cup was scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka. The Junior World Cup was shifted to South Africa after Sri Lanka’s membership was suspended by the ICC. Sixteen teams participating in the event have been divided into four groups. Pakistan is included in Group D along with India, Afghanistan and Nepal and will play its first match against Afghanistan on January 20. Saad Beg has been appointed as the captain and Ali Asfand as the vice-captain. Other players include Ali Raza, Ahmed Hasan, Aamir Hasan, Arafat Minhas, Azan Owais, Haroon Arshad, Khabib Khalil, Muhammad Riazullah, Muhammad Zeeshan, Naveed Ahmad Khan, Shahzeb Khan, Shamil Hussain and Obaidshah. The junior team will participate in a training camp from December 28 to January 5 before leaving for South Africa
