ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has declared an urgent humanitarian aid initiative for Palestine. Following directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will send 100 tons of relief supplies aboard two cargo planes.
Officials confirmed that the aid flights are expected to take off within the next 48 hours. The relief materials will be transported to Palestine through coordinated efforts with Jordan and Egypt, utilizing special logistical arrangements.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will supervise the coordination and distribution of the aid, while Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in Jordan and Egypt will work closely to ensure the safe and prompt delivery of the assistance to Palestinian territories. This move demonstrates Pakistan’s steadfast support and solidarity with the Palestinian people amid their ongoing crisis.
