Pakistan Army releases footage of strikes on Kandahar oil storage sites

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has released video footage showing airstrikes targeting oil storage facilities at Kandahar Airfield during the night of March 12–13, as part of the ongoing military campaign, Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, against militant groups operating from Afghan territory.

According to reports, the footage includes visuals captured both before and after the bombardment, highlighting the impact of the strikes on the targeted locations.

Security sources said Pakistani forces successfully struck and destroyed oil storage sites in the area. They claimed the facilities were allegedly being used by militants and elements linked with the Afghan Taliban to support attacks inside Pakistan.

The sources further stated that the operation is focused on dismantling militant hideouts as well as targeting installations believed to be supporting hostile activities across the border.

Officials indicated that military operations would continue until the intended objectives of the campaign are achieved.

The latest strikes come amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban administration, with Islamabad accusing Kabul of failing to curb militant groups using Afghan soil to carry out attacks against Pakistan.
