Pakistan army secures top honour at international pacesticking competition 2026

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the International Pacesticking Competition 2026, hosted at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) team delivered an outstanding performance, outperforming competitors from around the world and claiming the championship title.

The Pakistani contingent dominated the event by capturing all major awards, including the Overall Team Trophy, Best Pace Sticker, and Best Driver honours, completing a clean sweep at the prestigious competition.

The nine-member team, headed by Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of the Pakistan Military Academy, arrived in the UK last week to participate in the annual contest.

This year’s competition featured 16 teams representing various international armed forces, making the achievement a significant demonstration of skill and discipline.

The ISPR said the victory reflects the Pakistan Army’s commitment to maintaining high standards of professional training, precision and excellence, while showcasing the capabilities of its officers and cadets on an international stage.
