Pakistan army successfully tests Fatah-4 Cruise Missile

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army has successfully carried out a training launch of the newly inducted indigenous Fatah-4 Ground Launched Cruise Missile, demonstrating a range of 750 kilometers.

This advanced missile system, equipped with cutting-edge avionics and sophisticated navigation aids, showcased its precise strike capabilities during the test. The military’s media wing stated that the Fatah-4, featuring terrain-hugging technology, is designed to evade enemy missile defense systems, significantly increasing its survivability in combat scenarios. Its accuracy and extended range are expected to bolster the Army Rocket Force Command’s conventional missile arsenal, as reported by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The successful trial of the Fatah-4 missile, which is part of Pakistan’s indigenous defense capabilities, was conducted today at a distance of 750 kilometers. The missile’s advanced avionics and state-of-the-art guidance systems enable it to follow low-altitude flight paths, making interception by enemy defenses more difficult.

Official sources highlighted that the Fatah-4 combines top-tier guidance technology with high-precision engagement ability. Its low-altitude flight profile enhances stealth and reduces the likelihood of detection, adding a significant dimension of lethality to Pakistan’s strategic options.

The launch was observed by the Chief of General Staff, senior military officials, as well as scientists and engineers involved in the missile development program.

In response to the successful test, Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Service Chiefs extended their congratulations to the troops, scientists, and engineers involved in the project for their achievement in conducting the Fatah-4’s training fire.
