ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi met with Bahrain’s Interior Minister General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa during his visit to Manama on Thursday.
The discussion covered various topics, including bilateral relations, regional security, and areas of mutual interest, with both sides delving into these matters in detail.
The ministers agreed on enhancing collaboration in counter-narcotics efforts, boosting the capabilities of law enforcement agencies, and improving the effectiveness of intelligence sharing.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality shown by his Bahraini counterpart and commended Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Pakistan in areas of security and stability.
He highlighted that the brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain is founded on mutual trust and respect, emphasizing the importance of close coordination between the institutions of both nations to ensure peace and security in the region.
