Pakistan beat West Indies in 2nd T20I

PORT OF SPAIN: Pakistan won the 2nd T20 international against West Indies by three runs after a thrilling encounter at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain tonight.

Young all-rounder Shadab Khan picked up four wickets and played a vital role in Pakistan’s victory in the match. He was awarded with ‘Man of the Match’. Marlon Samuels was the top scorer of the West Indian team with 44 runs on 35 balls. While Jason Holder scored 26 runs and remained not out. Opener Chadwick Walton went to pavilion on 21 runs. West Indies failed to chase the target given by Pakistan and could score 129 runs on eight wickets in the match.

 It is pertinent to mention here this is the second consecutive victory of Pakistan against West Indies in the four-match T20 series. Pakistan took 2-0 lead in the series.

Earlier, The brilliant bowling and spectacular catching helped the West Indian to restrict Pakistan at  132 runs and put themselves in strong position in second T-20 at Trinidad in four match series.

Pakistani batsmen could not stand firmed before the Sunil Narine and other Caribbean bowlers and their wickets fell in short span of time.

Kamran Akmal, who exhibit classic performance in second edition of PSL, failed to post any score and bowled by Badree. After the departure of Kamran green shirts lost their wickets apiece accept Shoaib and Sarfraz’s short partnership.

Babar,  27 and Shoaib Malik’s 28 helped Pakistan to cross 100 mark. In the final overs hero of the first T-20 Shadab, 13 and particularly Wahab Riaz, 24  live the hopes the green shirts and posted the target of 133. Sunil Narine and Brathwait both got three wickets each.

West Indies elected bowling after winning toss against Pakistan in second T-20 match in 4-match series as Fakhar Zaman will make his debut.

Pakistan has won first T-20 by six wicket comprehensively with the help of emerging star Shadab Khan, who trapped three West Indians just giving seven runs in his four over quota. Young player Fakhar Zamand replaced with Muhammad Hafeez to have opportunity to make international debut.
