WEB DESK: Pakistan once again at the bottom of the list of most powerful passports around the world for the first quarter of 2024.
In the list released by Henley & Partners for January to March 2024, the passports of 6 countries were declared the most powerful simultaneously, according to the Henley Index, passports from Japan, Singapore, Spain, Italy, France and Germany were declared the most powerful, holders of passports from these countries can travel to 194 countries without a visa.
Passports from Austria, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands ranked third with visa-free entry to 192 countries, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal and the United Kingdom came in fourth, and passports from these countries allow visa-free access to 191 countries.With visa-free entry to 190 countries, passports from Greece, Malta and Switzerland ranked joint 5th.
Pakistan is the fourth country with the weakest passport, it is ranked 101st overall in the Pakistani passport section and allows visa-free entry to 34 countries. below Pakistan were Iraq (102), Syria (103) and Afghanistan (104).
It should be noted that earlier in the beginning of January 2024, the name of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was at the top of the list of the world’s most powerful passports issued by Arton Capital, according to the list, UAE passport holders can travel to 180 countries without a visa.
In this list, Pakistan was declared as the 5th country with the weakest passport, according to the list, visa-free travel or visa-on-arrival facility is available in 47 countries on Pakistani passport.
