Pakistan were bowled out for 426 after resuming the day at 374-6.
The Green Caps added 52 runs as paceman Blessing Muzarabani dismissed Hasan Ali and Nauman Ali off successive deliveries before getting the wicket of Fawad Alam for 140.
Muzarabani finished with figures of 4-73.
Earlier, Century Maker Fawad Alam and Hassan Ali had the third day of the first test between Pakistan and Zimbabwe while Pakistan had edge of 198 runs in thefirst innings against the host team.
The green team had started second day of the test on 103 without losing any wicket while Abid Ali was playing on 56 and Imran Butt on 43 runs not out. The both opener completed century partnership after which they bowled scoring six runs. In first session Pakistan added 59 runs in its last day total and lost one wicket.
Imran But scored 91, Azhar Ali 36 and Baber Azam was bowled out on the very fist bowl. Fawad Alam completed its third century in the last session. When the second day play ended Pakistan had a score of 374 losing six wickets in the first innings. Fawad Alam and Hassan are not out at 108 and 21 respectively.
Zimbabwe were bundled out for 176 in their first innings.
Pakistan handed a Test debut to off-spinner Sajid Khan while Zimbabwe included Milton Shumba, Roy Kaia and Richard Ngarava for their first Tests.
The second Test will also be played in Harare from May 7.
