Karachi: Pakistan has once again called for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
At the UN Security Council Briefing on the Humanitarian Situation in Gaza, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said the international community must act and without delay.
Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said a just and lasting peace in the Middle East requires the realization of the two-state solution, with an independent and sovereign state of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital.
