ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China on Sunday have signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for cooperation in different sectors.

The signing ceremony was held in Islamabad on Sunday which was attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chinese Vice Prime Minister Wang Qishan.

These MoUs include cooperation in economic and technical affairs, Disaster Management and assistance in the agriculture sector of Lasbella University.

Meanwhile, the two leaders launched and unveiled the plaques of the four mega development projects in the fields of energy, technology and education under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Earlier, President Dr Arif Alvi held a meeting with Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan in Islamabad. They discussed bilateral relations and matters pertaining to mutual interests during the meeting.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Planning Minister and the other high officials were also present during the meeting.
