ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to actively contribute to regional peace and stability during a phone call with Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah. He emphasized Pakistan’s strong stance against recent attacks on Kuwait and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, praying for the injured’s swift recovery.
In their conversation, the Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to resolve conflicts in the Middle East. The Crown Prince appreciated Pakistan’s leadership and support, particularly in mediating between Iran and the US, and acknowledged Pakistan’s solidarity during Kuwait’s challenging times.
The Crown Prince also expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s ongoing support and conveyed his intention to visit Pakistan once the situation stabilizes. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s proactive approach and reaffirmed Kuwait’s desire to strengthen bilateral ties amid current regional tensions.
