ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has issued a strong denunciation of the latest Israeli military actions targeting Palestinians in Gaza.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi, the Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous women and children. He said the assaults not only violate international law but also breach the recently concluded peace understanding.
Andrabi noted that Israel’s actions undermine ongoing peace initiatives and directly contradict the commitments made in Sharm el-Sheikh. He urged the global community to take concrete measures to halt Israel’s unchecked use of force and its repeated violations of the ceasefire.
The Foreign Office stressed the urgency of safeguarding international human rights norms and fulfilling humanitarian obligations.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s longstanding stance, the spokesperson reiterated the country’s unwavering support for the creation of an independent, sovereign, and contiguous Palestinian state.
