ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister adviser on Trade Abdul Razzaq Dawood has said that Pakistan is going to sign second free trade agreement with China while all stakeholders are on board before the signing the agreement.
The meeting of the senate standing committee on trade and textile was held in the chair of Chairman Mirza Afridi.
Trade ministry officials briefed the meeting that consultants have been hired for envisaging geography and inductions related laws and they started their work as well.
Senator Noman Wazir said that rice is a Pakistani crop but others country have occupied the crop while Pakistan salt is being exported by India after packing it urging the government to take actions against violations.
On which, the adviser said that the matter is in under consideration and we will include the private sector in framing policies.
Senator Shibli Faraz said that the committee suggested to raise exports but it was not implemented adding that TDAP has become useless institutions filled with corruption and suggested that its headquarter should be transferred to Islamabad.
The adviser said that Pakistan faced with problems related to cotton due to mall practices growing in cotton crops its seeds have destroyed.
Razaq Dawood said that anti-insect drugs used in the crops consisted of half water in it while he said that APTMA has been warned that the government is not going to give any subsidy to it.
