ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said UK had positively responded to Pakistan’s reference against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founder Altaf Hussain, saying that progress is expected in this regard soon.
Member of UK House of Lords, Lord Nazir Ahmed called on the Interior Minister. During the meeting, they discussed Pak-UK relations, issues of expats living in UK and Pak-India tension.
Talking on the occasion, the minister said that Kashmir was the root cause of tension between Pakistan and India. He said that India wanted to divert international community’s attention from Kashmir. He said that India could not suppress Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination.
